Liz's Birthday

Saturday was Liz's birthday. We had a little party and then all went to see "Stomp the Yard". The dancing was pretty good, but the movie was SO DUMB. Very predictable and no plot. It was more fun to laugh at the people in the theater who would comment on the movie and clap after some scenes. We had a good time anyway. And here's a photo of Liz with some new birthday tools and a SWEET new toolbelt. Now that she has the latest in "tool fashion", we have a list of jobs for her to get started on!

We had a great Sunday. Jen taught a great lesson and we had some friends over for a potluck lunch. Thanks to Cindy for the yummy orange rolls! And to top the day off, the Indianapolis Colts pulled off a nailbiter against the Patriots to make it to their first Super Bowl (where they'll play the Bears)!

We got some snow today (and now it's freezing rain), so my three teacher roommates are earnestly praying for a snow day. I, of course, am hoping it stops because some of us don't get snow days and will have to fight our way through horrid traffic, full of drivers who are terrified of a little rain, let alone snow and it will take us forever to get to work. Maybe I'll just call in sick...
